MARIPOSA – The first Saturday in June is the date set for the annual Mariposa County Master Gardeners Spring Garden Tour from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The public is invited to tour five very special local Mariposa home gardens plus the Mariposa Creek Parkway Native Plant Demonstration Garden along Mariposa Creek in downtown.
Master Gardener docents will be on hand at each location to answer your gardening questions.
Brochures will be available at each location to guide you through your walk and identify the plants.
Enjoy the unique features in each garden and discover what can be grown at various elevations and in the different micro-climates in the County.
Tickets are just $12 and are available at the Mariposa Visitor’s Center, Trent’s Salon, Chocolate Soup, UCCE Mariposa Office 209-966-2417 and from any Master Gardener. You can also buy tickets on-line and pay by credit card.
