MARIPOSA – The Mariposa Mountain Riders, along with the Mariposa Friends of the Fair Foundation, are proud to announce the return of the Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Queen Competition.
Entries are due June 1. There are three divisions: Junior Princess, Princess and Queen. This contest is open to young ladies 6-21 years of age who are residents of Mariposa, Madera, Merced and Tuolumne Counties and is structured in such a way to help empower young ladies to be a representative of not only Mariposa County Fair and their rodeo but also the rural western lifestyle that is Mariposa.Several clinics will be held to help these ladies with presence and poise, public speaking and horsemanship.
