COARSEGOLD – The man who died in a tractor accident at a property along Road 400 yesterday has been identified by the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Paul Ruell, 65, of Ahwahnee, was operating a tractor on a property just west of Yosemite Lakes Park when, it appears he fell off, possibly while going down an embankment, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 4.
Details are not certain at this point, but it appears the tractor may have driven over him, causing fatal injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
