Madera Deputy Sheriffs’ Toy Drive For Children’s Hospital

madera-deputy-sheriffs-assoc-toy-drive-2016-oakhurstOAKHURST — The Madera County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (DSA) is holding a 3rd annual Toy Drive at two locations on Saturday, Dec. 3. All proceeds from the event will be given to kids who are spending Christmas day at Valley Children’s Hospital. New, unwrapped toys are requested for this drive.

The first location is in Oakhurst, at the Madera County Sheriff’s Office substation for the mountain community. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the generous public can drop off a toy donation or join in for punch and cookies courtesy of the Madera County DSA. The Oakhurst substation is located at 48267 Liberty Drive. Free children’s fingerprinting will be available.

madera-deputy-sheriffs-assoc-toy-drive-2016-childrens-hospThe second location where the DSA will be taking in toys on Saturday, Dec. 3 is Valley Children’s Hospital, located at 9300 Valley Children’s Place in Madera, where drop-offs run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donors will be directed to the event the parking lot entry ways. Donors may drop off a toy donation the day of the event, or stop for a but and join in on a free lunch courtesy of the Madera County DSA members. Free children’s fingerprinting will be available. At this location, a photo and print card of the child will be given to the parent/guardian to keep.
