Madera County Sheriff’s Local Log Through Jan. 21

MADERA COUNTY– Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Jan. 15 to Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018.

Oakhurst commercial burglary
On Monday, Jan. 15 at 7:11 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of road 426 in regards to a commercial burglary. Statements were collected, photos were taken of scene, items stolen were itemized and game camera images were collected.

Ahwahnee juvenile danger to self
On Monday, Jan. 15 at 6:59 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence regarding a report of a possibly suicidal female juvenile. During the investigation deputy determined the female juvenile was a danger to herself, due to a mental condition. She was placed on a 5150 W&I hold and transported to a hospital via ambulance for evaluation and/or treatment. This case has been closed.

Coarsegold fraud
On Monday, Jan. 15 at 6:27 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a phone report of fraud located in the 30000 block of Tioga Road. An investigation ensued and a report was taken. Case pending further investigation.

Coarsegold forgery of drivers license
On Monday, Jan. 15 at 10:48 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding the report of a male subject with a forged California Drivers License. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and evidence was collected. Case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for review of charges. Case closed.

North Fork theft
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 8:19 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block of White Oak Place regarding a report of theft. Interviews were conducted and a report was written.

North Fork juveniles with cannabis edibles, narcotics found at home
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 11:53 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 228 regarding juveniles consuming edible marijuana at school. It was discovered the juveniles had obtained the edibles from home. Upon arriving to the home an apparatus used for making marijuana oil, via chemical extraction, was found in an area accessible to children. The home was eventually searched with a parent’s consent and
more narcotics were found. Suspects were arrested and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. The three children of the mother were placed in the care of C.P.S.

Coarsegold reported computer hacking
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 1:39 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415 in regard to someone possibly hacking into a computer and attempting to withdraw funds from a checking account. A statement was collected, a report was written and forwarded to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office Detectives for further investigation

Coarsegold civil issue over vehicle
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 5:15 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 44000 block of Person Loop North for a possible robbery. It was determined that no crime had occurred and that this was a civil issue regarding a vehicle. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

Coarsegold warrant citation
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 10:40 p.m. deputies responded to the area of Highway 41 and Meadow Ridge Road for a possible suicidal subject. Upon arrival it was determined that the subject was not suicidal. While on scene another subject had two confirmed misdemeanor warrants out of Madera County. The subject was given a citation for the warrants.

North Fork report of burglary unsubstantiated
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 8:44 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 50000 block of Pinchot Drive regarding a burglary. No burglary actually committed, and a general incident report was taken. Close the case.

Coarsegold juveniles arrested on probation warrants
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 9:22 a.m. a deputy contacted two juveniles at Road 417 and CA-41. One juvenile provided a name to the deputy. Both subjects were arrested on probation warrants. Forward to Madera Juvenile Probation for charges filed.

North Fork narcotics violations
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 12:10 p.m. a deputy contacted a probationer in the 33000 block of Road 222 which resulted in the subject being cited for narcotics violations. Forward to the Madera DA for charges.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 3:47 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject in the area of Road 417 / CA 41 who had an outstanding arrest warrant. The subject was cited and released on the warrant. Close the case.

Coarsegold theft
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 9:59 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Meadow Lane for a report of a theft. A case was generated and no suspects of evidence was located at this time. Case closed

Oakhurst narcotics and warrant arrests
On Thursday, Jan. 18 at 12:53 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of CA 41 / Victoria Lane in Oakhurst which resulted in the driver being cited and released on narcotics violations and a passenger on outstanding arrest warrants. Forward to the DA for charges.

Oakhurst burglary
On Thursday, Jan. 18 at 3:18 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of CA-41 regarding a burglary. Report taken for documentation. Refer report suspended until further leads develop.

North Fork assault
On Thursday, Jan. 18 at 3:32 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 53000 block of Hidden Meadow Road regarding shots fire and a possible injured person. An investigation was conducted and determined that the reporting party had been assaulted during a verbal argument. The suspect was gone on arrival. Case forwarded to DA’s office to file charges.

Oakhurst intoxicated subject
On Thursday, Jan. 18 at 8:48 p.m. a deputy responded to the 40000 block of Highway 41 for a report of an intoxicated subject. Deputies arrived on scene and a case was generated and charges were filed with the DA’s Office for prosecution.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Thursday, Jan. 18 at 8:17 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Pierce Drive for a violation of a restraining order. An investigation was conducted regarding two separate incidents of domestic violence. The male half was identified but not located. Case forwarded to the DA’s office for charges.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Friday, Jan. 19 at 9:41 a.m. a deputy served an arrest warrant in the area of Willow Creek / Church Street which resulted in an arrest of an adult male. Close the case.

Coarsegold possible grenade
On Friday, Jan. 19 at 1:15 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Holly Lane regarding a report of a possible grenade found in a yard. After initial examination Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was dispatched to scene. Scene was made safe. A report was written.

Coarsegold juvenile in family dispute
On Saturday, Jan. 20 at 5:13 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Wells Road in regards to a report of a juvenile hitting her mother and father and breaking items in the residence. Subject did not qualify for a 72 hold. A report was written.

Oakhurst violation of restraining order via text
On Saturday, Jan. 20 at 8:58 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Road 425B  regarding a report of a violation of a restraining order. The restrained party was discovered to be sending text messages to the protected. A report was written.
