Madera County Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Mar. 19

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Mar. 13 to Sunday, Mar. 19, 2017:

North Fork structure shooting
On Monday, Mar. 13 at 8:05 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 Block of Road 228 for a building that had been fired on. The scene was processed for evidence and a report was written.

North Fork warrant citation
On Monday, Mar. 13 at 2:30 p.m. a deputy was assisting a Forest Service Officer with a traffic stop. While conducting the
stop, it was discovered that a female subject had an active misdemeanor warrant. Subject was cited and released on scene.

Oakhurst juvenile danger to self
On Monday, Mar. 13 at 8:07 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to an apartment complex located within the 48000 block of Victoria Lane regarding a possible overdose of medication. A teenage female had intentionally consumed an unknown quantity of an over-the0counter medication in an attempt to commit suicide. The female was placed on a mental healty evaluation hold and transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. This case has been closed.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Monday, Mar. 13 at 8:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of N. North Dome Drive in regards to a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival the deputy spoke with all parties involved. The deputy observed no injuries and all involved refused EMS. A report was written for documentation purposes only.

Coarsegold burglary
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 8:23 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 Block of Longview Lane East for a possible vehicle burglary. The scene was processed for evidence and the evidence was submitted. A report was taken and forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

North Fork vandalism
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 12:57 p.m. a deputy responded to the 32000 block of Road 222 in North Fork regarding a report of vandalism. The victim advised he located several bullet holes in the side of one of his vehicles. Case to be closed

Oakhurst domestic assault
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 2:24 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a call for service regarding a six-month old domestic assault, which occurred at the 43000 block of Country Club Drive in Oakhurst. A report written and case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney Office for charges to be filed.

Oakhurst vehicle processing
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at midnight a deputy received a request to process a vehicle that CHP recovered and released to the owner. The deputy contacted the owner and arranged for her to bring the vehicle into the Oakhurst substation for processing for physical evidence.

Coarsegold burglary
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 4:08 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to Road 420 near Cedar Mountain Lane for a possible vehicle vandalism. Upon arrival the deputy determined it was a vehicle burglary. The scene was processed for evidence, a report was taken, and forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 10:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a man who was stating he wanted to hurt himself. Upon arrival a deputy contacted the male who was determined to be a danger to himself. The male was placed on a mental health evaluation hold, and transported to a medical facility for observation.

Coarsegold mail theft
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 9:33 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of N. Dome Drive at the cross of Tioga Road in regards to an empty stolen packages from recent mail thefts. Evidence located was to be processed for latent prints. Close the case pending outcome of the processing of evidence.

Oakhurst wallet not stolen
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 11:27 a.m. a deputy responded to a reporting party who stated she believed her wallet was stolen out of her purse while shopping at Raley’s. She located her wallet a short time later in her husband’s office intact.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 12:11 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject who was wanted by probation in the area of Rd 200 and Wyle Ranch Road. The subject was arrested and turned over to probation. Close the case.

Coarsegold remains found
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 12:17 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of CA-41 in regards to bones being located at a construction site. Detectives were called out. Forward the case to detectives.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 2:29 p.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call in the 48000 block of Victoria Lane regarding a female who had been stabbed by her boyfriend and was seeking treatment for her injuries at a health care facility. An investigation was conducted and an Emergency Protective Order was granted to the victim. Charges are being requested from the DA’s office on the suspect.

North Fork domestic violence
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 3:45 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 32000 block of Mission Drive for a domestic violence incident. After investigation a male subject was placed under arrest for domestic violence. The subject was transported to Madera Department of Corrections. This report is being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

North Fork search and rescue
On Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 5:48 p.m. deputies were dispatched to Mile High Vista on USFS road 4s81 for a stuck vehicle. The Sheriff’s office sent up a patrol deputy and two SAR personnel to find the vehicle was no longer stuck and had left the area.

Oakhurst assault
On Thursday, Mar. 16 at 10:10 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 48000 block of Royal Oaks Drive for an assault report. Due to the injuries the victim was transported to the hospital. The suspect was later contacted and placed under arrest for felony battery.

Raymond coroner’s report
On Thursday, Mar. 16 at 10:12 p.m. a deputy responded to the 32000 block of Road 600 for a report of a deceased person. An investigation was conducted and no suspicious circumstances were found at this time. A report was taken for review by the detective unit and the Coroner’s Office.

North Fork weapons arrest
On Thursday, Mar. 16 at 11:26 p.m. a deputy conducted a vehicle stop on Road 221 and Road 200 in North Fork. An adult male was arrested for possession of composite knuckles. All evidence was booked at the sheriff’s office. The subject was released with a citation and a report was written. Case forwarded to the DA’s office for charges.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Friday, Mar. 17 at 6:04 a.m. a deputy contacted a subject at the block of 55000 Quail Hollow Court who was wanted for an outstanding felony warrant. He was apprehended and transported to MDOC without incident. Requesting this report be forwarded to the D.A’s office for charges and to Adult Probation for information.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Friday, Mar. 17 at 8:37 a.m., while in the area of Road 200 and Ellis Way, deputies placed a subject under arrest for having a confirmed felony warrant out of Madera County. The subject was transported and booked into Madera Department of Corrections for the warrant.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Friday, Mar. 17 at 1:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Holly Lane regarding a verbal altercation. A subject was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant. Close the case.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Friday, Mar. 17 at 4:21 p.m. deputies reponded to the area of the 46000 block of Beechwood Drive for a natural death coroner’s report. The report was forwarded to the Coroner.

Oakhurst missing person
On Friday, Mar. 17 at midnight, a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Live Oak Drive regarding a missing person. A report was taken and the subject’s information was entered into the missing person’s database.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Saturday, Mar. 18 at 1:28 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined a male subject and a female subject were highly intoxicated. Both the male and female were taken to Madera County Jail on charges relating to drunk in public.

Coarsegold narcotics
On Saturday, Mar. 18 at 7:37 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found property. A deputy conducted an investigation and determined the property found was possibly narcotics. The property was turned over to deputy and booked as evidence. The case was closed due to lack of investigative leads or evidence.

Coarsegold vandalism
On Sunday, Mar. 19 at 9:03 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a vehicle vandalism on the 31000 Block of Delaware Road.
A report was taken.
