Madera County Sheriff’s Crime Log Through June 11

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, June 5 to Sunday, June 11, 2017:

Oakhurst found bicycle
On Monday, June 5 at 9:25 a.m. a deputy responded to 49000 block of Golden Oak Drive regarding a report of found property. The reporting party reported a bicycle was found on the property. It was taken and stored in evidence as found property. Case to be closed.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Monday, June 5 at 10:23 a.m. a deputy was requested to assist another law enforcement agency in North Fork, and contacted a male subject who had an outstanding warrant out of Madera County.

Coarsegold theft
On Monday, June 5 at 5:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 52000 of Road 423, in regards to a report of a possible theft that occurred on 05-24-2017 at the 46000 block of Lucky Lane. The deputy conducted an investigation. Report written for documentation purposes only.

North Fork threat with firearm
On Monday, June 5 at 9:25 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Road 222. During the investigation the victims reported that two known males and a known female had confronted them outside the restaurant. One male threatened to shoot one victim and brandished a firearm at both victims. Both victims wanted to report the incident, but did not wish to seek prosecution. This case was written for documentation only and has been closed.

North Fork warrant arrest for El Dorado County
On Tuesday, June 6 at 1:31 a.m. a deputy was serving an arrest warrant in the 58000 block of Road 225. A male subject was contacted and was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of El Dorado county. The male subject was arrested, transported and booked into Madera Department of Corrections.

Coarsegold theft from bank account via Florida
On Tuesday, June 6 at 9:48 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Tioga Road in regards to a theft report. The victim was contacted by telephone. There were no suspects or witnesses. Unknown suspect(s) electronically withdrew funds from the victim’s bank account. The withdrawal was made in Florida. Report was taken for documentation.

Oakhurst family disturbance and emergency protection
On Tuesday, June 6 at 3:52 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 50000 block of Road 426 regarding a family disturbance. A female victim was reporting her adult son was intoxicated and out of control in her home. The victim said she was locked in her bedroom and her son punched a hole in her door. The suspect was placed under a citizens arrest and booked at the jail for misdemeanor vandalism. An emergency protective order was also obtained and served on the suspect. Report to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Coarsegold Coroner’s case
On Tuesday, June 6 at 5:24 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

Coarsegold warrant arrest, citation and release
On Tuesday, June 6 at 5:37 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Road 400 regarding a welfare check of a female subject hunched over the steering wheel of her vehicle. Upon arrival to the area the female was located and during the contact she was found to have three misdemeanor warrants out of Madera County. She was arrested, cited and released on scene for the warrants. Case closed by arrest.

Oakhurst report of theft with no descriptions
On Tuesday, June 6 at 6:42 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Country Club Drive East regarding a theft of jewelry. The victim was unable to provide any descriptions or information of the alleged stolen items at this time. Report to be closed.

Oakhurst found property
On Tuesday, June 6 at 6:44 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in regards to found property. The deputy attempted to contact the owner and was unsuccessful. The deputy booked the property into the Oakhurst substation property room. Report written for documentation purposes only.

Oakhurst elder orphan welfare check, elderly subject on floor
On Tuesday, June 6 at 11:13 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Pine Ridge Road, in regards to an elder orphan check. An investigation ensued and the deputy discovered the elderly subject on the floor, unable to get up. EMS arrived and transported the elderly subject to Madera Community Hospital. Report was written for documentation purposes only.

Coarsegold vehicle stop and warrant arrest
On Wednesday, June 7 at 12:08 a.m. a deputy was patrolling in the area of CA-41 and Road 200 when a traffic enforcement stop was conducted. Upon contacting the occupants it was found that the passenger had a felony warrant out of Fresno County. The subject was arrested and transported to Madera Department of Corrections where he was booked for the warrant. Case closed by arrest.

Oakhurst no-license driver, vehicle with expired registration towed
On Wednesday, June 7 at 1:26 p.m. a deputy conducted a check on a subject driving a vehicle. The subject did not have a drivers license and the vehicle registration was expired as of 2016. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed. Refer to traffic court for charges.

Oakhurst burglary
On Wednesday, June 7 at 2:48 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 Block of Beechwood Drive in regards to a burglary. A report was taken.

Oakhurst warrant citation
On Wednesday, June 7 at 3:35 p.m. deputies performed a traffic stop in the area of the 40000 block of Highway 49. Upon contact, the passenger in the vehicle had two confirmed misdemeanor warrants out of Madera County. The passenger was given a citation for the warrants and released from scene.

North Fork vandalism
On Wednesday, June 7 at 3:57 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 55000 block of Road 200 regarding a vandalism and a theft. A report was taken. Due to the lack of investigative leads and evidence, the case is closed.

Coarsegold burglary
On Wednesday, June 7 at midnight a deputy was dispatched to a telephonic burglary report from the area of 36000 Douglas Road North. A report was taken. The reporting party resides out of the area and advised he would call the office when he was in town for a deputy to respond and take a supplemental report.

Coarsegold Coroner’s case
On Thursday, June 8 at 9:18 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

On Thursday, June 8 at 10:03 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

Ahwahnee Coroner’s report
On Thursday, June 8 at 12:26 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

North Fork warrant arrest
On Thursday, June 8 at 1:55 p.m. a deputy conducted a vehicle check in the area of Road 200 and Oak Junction Lane which resulted in a subject being arrested and cited out on an outstanding arrest warrant. Close the case.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Thursday, June 8 at 10:43 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky lane for a domestic violence incident. After investigation the male half was placed under arrest for domestic violence. The male was transported to Madera Department of Corrections. A report was taken and forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

North Fork citation for suspended license and vehicle impound
On Friday, June 9 at 9:22 a.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement in the area of Road 225 and Road 230 which resulted in the driver being cited for driving on a suspended license for DUI and the vehicle impounded for 30 days. Forward the case to the DA’S office for charges.

Oakhurst credit card fraud
On Saturday, June 10 at 11:31 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-49 in regards to a subject trying to use fake credit cards to purchase items from a store. Case report taken.

Oakhurst theft
On Saturday, June 10 at 11:41 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 in regards to a theft that had reportedly just occurred. Deputues conducted an area check for the subjects to no avail. Surveillance video is unobtainable until released by manager. Case remain open until surveillance video received from the business.

Bass Lake golf cart stolen from bar
On Saturday, June 10 at 9:32 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 54000 block of Crane Valley Road regarding a stolen golf cart from the Pines Bar. An investigation was conducted and a case report was written.

Raymond found cell phone
On Sunday, June 11 at 2:01 p.m. an anonymous citizen turned over a found cell phone to the Sheriff’s Department while on a patrol check of Eastman Lake. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Sunday, June 11 at 8:14 p.m. a deputy was patrolling in the area of CA-41 and CA-49 when a white male adult was observed yelling at vehicles and pedestrians, along with pounding his hands on a business sign. The subject was contacted and found to be heavily intoxicated. The subject was subsequently arrested and transported to Madera County Department of Corrections for public intoxication charges. Case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold vehicle stop and citation
On Sunday, June 11 at 10:10 p.m. a deputy was patrolling in the area of CA-41 and Road 208 when a traffic enforcement stop was conducted regarding a vehicle code violation. During the stop the driver was found to be driving with an expired drivers license. The driver was subsequently arrested, cited and released on scene. Case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold motor vehicle stop and multiple citations
On Sunday, June 11 at 10:39 p.m. a deputy was patrolling in the area of CA-41 and Lucky Lane when a traffic stop was conducted for displaying a false tab. The passenger was found to be the owner of the vehicle and was subsequently arrested, cited and released on scene for multiple charges. Case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold vehicle stop and arrest with vehicle impound
On Sunday, June 11 at 10:39 p.m. a deputy was patrolling in the area of CA-41 and Lucky Lane when a traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle code violation. During the stop the driver was found to be driving with a suspended drivers license. The driver was subsequently arrested, cited and released on scene. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Case closed by arrest.
