Madera County Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Dec. 11

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016:

Oakhurst narcotics
On Monday, Dec. 5 at 10:29 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 426 regarding a subject wearing a lime green shirt walking towards the college with a knife. The subject was contacted and arrested. A report was taken, evidence obtained, and case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold theft
On Monday, Dec. 5 at 11:07 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation to investigate a theft that occurred in the 31000 block of Apache Road. A possible suspect has been identified.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Monday, Dec. 5 at 1:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Daisy Lane regarding a domestic dispute. A report was taken and charges filed with the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst warrant arrest
On Monday, Dec. 5 at 9:04 p.m. a deputy conducted a check of a suspicious vehicle in the 48000 block of Victoria Lane. Two individuals were contacted and one was ultimately found to have a felony no bail arrest warrant from Mariposa County. The subject was taken into custody and turned over to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office for booking in the Mariposa County Jail.

Bass Lake gas theft
On Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block of Willow Cove for theft of siphoned fuel from a truck. Latent prints were attempted at the scene but produced negative results. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case. Report to be closed.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 1:03 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of SR-41 for a suspect who appeared to be intoxicated in public. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. A report was written and charges were forwarded the Madera County District Attorney’s office.

North Fork vandalism
On Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8:11 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the North Fork Christian Center parking lot located within the 57000 block of Road 225 regarding a report of vandalism to a vehicle. This case has been suspended, pending investigative leads.

Coarsegold missing persons
On Wednesday, Dec. 7 a Coarsegold couple who were reported to be living on the 31000 block of Road 400, leave to join activists in North Dakota, and ceases contact with adult daughter. Both subjects entered into the missing person system.

O’Neals assault on a minor
On Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7:32 a.m. an aggravated assault occurred at the high school on the 45000 block of Road 200. The investigation was completed. The suspect was arrested and booked at juvenile hall.

North Fork misdemeanor warrants citation
On Thursday, Dec. 8 at 11:23 a.m. deputies performed a traffic stop in the area of Road 225 and Douglas Ranger Station for a vehicle with expired registration. The driver had two misdemeanor warrants out of Madera County. The driver was given a citation for the warrants and he was released from scene.

Oakhurst mail theft
On Thursday, Dec. 8 at 3:05 p.m. deputies received a report of a possible theft of package(s) from the exterior of a residence located on the 42000 block of Nelder Heights Drive. A report was taken.

North Fork stolen vehicles
On Friday, Dec. 9 at 2:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 57000 Thunder Way regarding a subject riding a quad and a female driving a white Ford car in the area. Later, deputies contacted a parolee at large and he was arrested. The ATV was determined to be stolen along with the vehicle. The subject was transported to MDOC without incident. The report was referred to the District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2:36 p.m. deputies responded to the 40000 block of Highway 49 for a subject that was a danger to himself. The subject was contacted and placed on a mental health evaluation hold. The subject was transported to Madera Community Hospital for evaluation.

North Fork assault
On Saturday, Dec. 10 at 3:18 p.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch radio call in the 32000 block of Road 222 regarding a domestic issue. An investigation was conducted and an emergency order of protection was issued. Charges were requested and forwarded to District Attorney’s office.

Oakhurst theft
On Sunday, Dec. 11 at 12:54 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Pine Ridge Road in regards to a theft report. There are no suspect(s), witnesses, or investigative leads. Report to be closed.

Oakhurst theft
On Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1:15 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 4100 block of Yosemite Pines Drive in regards to a theft from a residence. Latent prints were attempted at the scene but produced negative results. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case. Report to be closed.
