Madera County In-House Tax Sale Postponed

MADERA — Due to unforeseen circumstances, Madera County’s in-house tax sale scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 25, has been postponed, according to Tracy Kennedy Desmond, Madera County Treasurer – Tax Collector.

Consistent with Revenue and Taxation code 3701, a postponed sale must be established within 90 days of its original sale date, says Desmond.

Therefore the next scheduled date has been set for Wednesday, July 18, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 200 W. 4th Street in Madera, beginning at 10 a.m

All parties of interest will also be notified in writing and the Right of Redemption will be extended through July 17.
