Lorna Pollock
Sierra Art Trails 2015 Catalog #87
We invite you to visit our beautiful studio setting, well worth the short scenic drive from Hwy 49.
Our fields are dotted with concrete and metal sculptures by myself and by other artists of the region whose work we have collected.
Inside the studio, the walls are full of all new oil paintings from 2015 – textured, abstracted landscapes, and portraits of local artists. My husband, artist Charles Rowe, is showing his large figurative wood sculptures, abstract metal sculptures and handwoven baskets.
Since the 2014 Sierra Arts Trail, I have entered several regional exhibits and have won awards for my portraits and figurative paintings. This year for the Studio Tour my focus is on the landscapes of Mariposa, Merced and Madera counties, along with portraits of artist friends and community members, in both abstract and realistic styles.
You may see more of my work on Facebook.
I look forward to meeting you at our studio during Sierra Art Trails, Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4.
Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 2, 3 and 4, 2015.
