Lisbeth (Beth) Stauffer passed away on Nov. 20, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born June 20, 1942 in Fresno to Judge Denver and Betty Peckinpah.
Raised in Oakhurst, Mrs. Stauffer graduated from Sierra High. She had a private practice in hypnotherapy for 25 years, and enjoyed collecting rocks and crystals, studying the Bible, reading, and playing poker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shelley Murphy, and brother David.
She is survived by her children Gretchen Barriere and spouse Steve of San Anselmo, Shannon Arti and spouse Tim of Hudson, Ohio, Heidi of San Anselmo, and Max-David Stauffer of Oakhurst; her sister Deneen Peckinpah; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. in the Lakeview Room at the Pines Resort in Bass Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Manna House.
