On June 5th, I ask you to vote Marshall Long for County Supervisor District 3. Marshall has done and will continue to do an outstanding job for his District and Mariposa County. I have known Marshall for the past 48 years. I know him to be very knowledgeable, personable and have excellent moral values.
Marshall understands fiscal restraints and how to make those tough decisions prioritizing community values. Marshall is very dedicated and dependable and completes all commitments he has made to others, a prime example were his actions during the recent floods and fires.
Marshall knows that a top priority is Public Safety and has shown his support for our Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department. He has vast experience in land use and planning issues. He knows and watches the County’s expenditures to make sure each dollar is spent appropriately. Marshall supports the Second Amendment and knows how important this is in a rural community.
I do not give personal recommendations lightly. I feel that in doing so one puts their own integrity and credibility on the line. In recommending Marshall for County Supervisor, I do so without hesitation.
