OAKHURST — The Sierra Oakhurst Kiwanis upcoming meeting will feature guest speaker Sally Moreno, candidate for Madera County District Attorney.
This event with the candidate is open to the public. One does not need to be a member of the Kiwanis to attend, though the organization welcomes new members.
A former police officer, Army veteran, and career prosecutor, Ms. Moreno will address the Sierra Oakhurst Kiwanis and others at their regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at noon. The meeting will be held at El Cid Mexican Restaurant, located at 41939 CA-41 in Oakhurst, and lunch will be served from the regular menu.
Those who plan on attending will want to arrive at 11:45 a.m.
