Jewelry Making Workshop with LothLorien Stewart

MARIPOSA – The Mariposa County Arts Council is offering a 2-day jewelry making workshop with local artist, LothLorien Stewart on Sept. 15 and 22 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Alley wine and beer bar in downtown Mariposa.

Participants will learn how to make a jewelry piece using copper metal clay. The first session will cover the basics of shaping and refining metal clay before firing. Between classes, Stewart will fire these creations. In session two, the class will patina and polish their work into a finished jewelry piece.

This class is a fundraiser for the Mariposa County Arts Council’s Artists in the Schools Program. Registration is $125 for Arts Council Members and $135 for non-members and includes an instructor fee, materials, and wine (one glass/class).
