OAKHURST – A wreck on Deadwood this afternoon resulted in at least one injury, and backed traffic up for about an hour.
Details of just how the crash happened are not yet available from the CHP, but at least two cars were towed from the scene and one victim was transported to a Madera hospital, according to an officer on the scene.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, about 2 miles south of Oakhurst on Highway 41.
It is unclear at this time what caused the collision, but traffic control was put in place across Deadwood, with one lane at a time being let through while the accident was cleared.
