AUBERRY — Loving father, brother, and husband Merle Hicks, Jr. passed away Auberry, CA., on Oct. 19, 2017, at the age of 58.
Merle leaves behind daughter Sarah Marrett, sons Merle, Danny, and Randy Hicks, and the love of his life, Sheryl Brown. The family is forever grateful to Merle’s brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Christine Hicks, who took care of him, gave him a home, and love, and were always there for him.
Merle was born in Fresno on July 24, 1959 and is described by his daughter as both a warrior and Superman who will remain in their hearts forever. A memorial service will be held in Merle’s honor at noon on Saturday, Nov. 25 at Roeding Park in Fresno.
