AHWAHNEE – The people who make up the Wasuma PTA have put together a fundraiser for the whole family. It’s Hot Wasuma Nights, scheduled for this Saturday, Aug. 22 at Wasuma Elementary School, located at 45109 Highway 49.
The public is invited and entrance to the event is free. Registration for cars is $25.
Hot Wasuma Nights is a Hot Rod and Classic Car Show that starts at 9 a.m. and runs to 3 p.m.
Visitors can look forward to food, fun and friends while the PTA sets out to raise money for classroom supplies, equipment for the new Gymnasium, sports uniforms, school assemblies, field trips, garden supplies, family fun events and more.
Prize raffles and a 50/50 drawing will be on hand to raise the stakes.
