Sierra Senior Center BBQ Benefit

OAKHURST – Get ready for BBQ chicken and all the trimmings served up at the Sierra Senior Center on June 21. Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner starts at 5 p.m.

Dinner is $7 for members and $10 for non members, with proceeds going to the Zona Cahill for Honorary Mayor of Oakhurst campaign to benefit the Sierra Senior Center.

Also set to benefit the Sierra Senior Center is a stop for treats at Froyo Frenzy frozen yogurt shop in the Old Mill Village shopping center, on Tuesday, June 24. Visit Froyo from 4 to 7 p.m., fill up a $3 cone and a portion of those profits will go toward the Zona Cahill campaign, as well.

The Sierra Senior Center is located at 49111 Cinder Lane in Oakhurst. The Center offers a lunch program for any senior and is listed as a cooling center in Madera County.
