Details of the crime are slim at this time, but according to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of two men entering a home in the 36000 block of Cedar Lane at about 7:30 last night.

A mother and her adult son were reportedly in the home when the two suspects entered, and the son called 911.

When deputies arrived at the home, the suspects had already fled, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The suspects were described as two males, one tall and thin with long hair, the second short and stocky. Both were described as wearing dark hoodies.

Deputies searched the area for over an hour, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The family friend says she has been in a coma, has had brain surgery, and is on a ventilator.
