Free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar

Senior Scam Stopper Berryhill flyer May 31 2016OAKHURST — According to one investor survey, more than seven million older Americans – that’s one out of every five citizens over the age of 65 – have already been victimized by a financial swindle. Now, there’s something proactive to be done about it.

The public is invited to attend a free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar on Friday, Jun. 10 from 9 – 10:30 a.m.. The event is sponsored by Senator Tom Berryhill, Assemblymember Frank Bigelow, and the California Highway Patrol, and takes place at the CHP located at 40500 Redbud Drive in Oakhurst.

Those in attendance will hear from experts on ways to protect oneself or family members from fraud relating to home repaid, insurance, finances, identity theft, and more.
