OAKHURST – Some bunny wants everyone to know that the Children’s Museum of the Sierra (CMOS) is hosting an Easter Open House for kids on Sunday, Apr. 20, from noon to 4 p.m.
Family-oriented festivities include photo opportunities for the mama-and-paparazzi, and the chance for kids to make their own Easter baskets.
Refreshments will be served at the free, fun-filled event.
Children can have their pictures taken with the furry celebrity of the day, known formally as the Easter Bunny, from 1 – 2 p.m.
Kids can also meet Hauser the Dog, enjoy some human treats, and DIY Easter holiday baskets courtesy of the nice folks at CMOS.
The Children’s Museum of the Sierra is a hands-on discovery center for preschoolers and school-age children.
Open Tuesday through Sunday, CMOS is a nonprofit organization run by a small staff and volunteers.
CMOS is located at 49269 Golden Oak Drive, across the street from Western Sierra Nursery. For more information, visit the Children’s Museum Facebook page.
