Free Easter Egg Hunt At Oakhurst Community Park

OAKHURST — The Oakhurst Park Committee invites the community to its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt, set for Saturday, Mar. 31 at Oakhurst Community Park. Admission is free for the event, starting at 9 a.m. and going until noon.

This is a BYOB event — bring your own basket. And while you’re at it, BOLO the Golden Egg with special prizes. Vendors, raffles, bubbles, a DJ and eggs galore will be part of the park experience for kids to enjoy. The Easter Egg Hunt will feature categories for children from 0 – 12 years old, say organizers. Food and drinks will be hosted by Sierra Oakhurst Kiwanis, and a story-time, along with Reptile Ron, will be available at the Branches Books booth.

Photos with the Easter Bunny are $5 each because, you know, Bunny’s got to have carrots. Last year’s inaugural event was terrific and this year is bound to be even better.
