O’NEALS – Crews have been called out to a fire on Road 210 about 3 miles west of O’Neals.
The fire, dubbed the Gold Incident, was called in shortly after 1 p.m. this afternoon
It is now at 150 acres burning in farm land and up a steep hill. At this hour, the fire is 25% contained. There are several homes in the area.
Three air tankers and one helicopters are dropping retardant and water on the blaze. So far, resources dispatched to the fire include:
– 6 Cal Fire Engines
– 1 Air Attack
– 3 Air Tankers
– 1 Helicopter
– 4 Cal Fire Dozers
– 2 Privade Dozers
– 4 Hand Crews
– Madera County Support Unit
– 2 Strike Teams are in route
