Facebook Tips Lead To Arrest Of Man Brandishing Knife At CVS

COARSEGOLD — Thanks to Facebook tips, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the man who reportedly brandished a knife at CVS employees in Oakhurst last night.

The incident was reported at about 6:30 p.m., and the suspect, Nathaniel Follette, was located and taken into custody at the Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold just a few hours later.

He was arrested for possession of stolen property, violation of a criminal protective order, and resisting arrest.

Additional charges related to the incident at CVS will be filed.

Follette was booked in at Madera County DOC without incident.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to express its gratitude to the citizens of Madera County and beyond for their diligence and efforts in assisting with their  investigation.
