Saturday, August 5th, monthly meetings of the Oakhurst Democratic Club resume at a new location – Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway at 40530 Highway 41. We’ll have a hot buffet ($8.00) served at 8:30 a.m. with program starting at 9:30 a.m.
Our August guest speaker is KVPR Director of Program Content, Joe Moore, discussing “Valley Public Radio and Freedom of the Press,” including guidelines used in producing local news and the station’s relationship to National Public Radio and other media outlets when distributing content. KVPR President and General Manager Mariam Stepanian will also be joining us.
The general public is cordially invited to attend regardless of party affiliation with plenty of time set aside for questions and answers.
