“Back to Basics”

University of California, Cooperative Extension’s Livestock & Natural Resources Advisor for Fresno and Madera Counties, Rebecca Ozeran, is hosting a workshop for local ranchers at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and again at Kearney Ag Research and Extension Center, Parlier on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

The presentations will be focusing on “Back to Basics”. Topics include: range and pasture weed management, beef cattle mineral needs in California, antibiotic legislation update and Q & A, and dollars and cents of Residual Dry Matter.

Registration is required. The pre-registration cost is $15.00 per person and includes dinner and refreshments. Registration at the door is $20.00 per person.
