Evacuations Lifted For Cascadel Tonight

NORTH FORK – The mandatory evacuation order for Cascadel Woods area will be lifted tonight, Aug. 2, at 9 p.m. This includes Road 233, Mission Drive and Peckinpah Acres Drive.

Only residents with proper identification will be allowed back in. No one will allowed access before 9 p.m.

Douglas Ranger Station Road, Central Camp Road and Willow Canyon Drive remain under mandatory evacuation. The threat of fire still remains in these areas as firefighters secure firelines and knock down hot spots. We will update when those closures are lifted.

Please have your proof of residency ready at the checkpoint, and please do not try to reenter the Cascadel Woods area before 9 p.m.
