Deputies And CHP Search For Suspected Bank Robber

OAKHURST — Law enforcement is actively searching for a white newer model Toyota Tacoma after a robbery was reported at Central Valley Bank at Highways 41 at 49.

Just before 5 p.m., deputies and CHP officers began searching for the pickup described as a 4-door with tinted windows, no tailgate, a chrome bumper and a tow hitch.

The vehicle may have headed south after leaving the bank, where the suspect reportedly passed a note to the teller. At this time, there is an indication that no weapon was used, though that has not been confirmed.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue beanie and dark sunglasses.

Anyone who sees this truck is asked to call 911 with information.
