OAKHURST – Area residents are invited to a free health screening at the Oakhurst Community Center on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors will be treated to tips for leading a healthy life at a Community Health Fair where kids and families are welcomed.

Complimentary services will be provided by chiropractors, nutritionists, natureopaths, podiatrists, physicians, physical therapists and medical assistants.
The fair will include free dental screenings, health risk assessments, skin cancer screenings, and glaucoma screening. Visitors may also receive exercise and nutrition counseling, self breast exam education, visual acuity testings, blood sugar testings, diabetic foot exams, physical therapy consultations.
Sponsors include Adventist Health, Sierra Ambulance and the California Highway Patrol.
