Coarsegold Tree Lighting Ceremony

COARSEGOLD – The Coarsegold Community Center will be bustling with the sights and sounds of this holiday season, as the Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 5 – 8 p.m.

Children’s gift-making time will take place from 5 – 6 p.m. followed by lighting the tree at 6 p.m.

That’s not all, though. Provided the weather cooperates, organizers are planning pony rides for the kids

Free beverages, cookies and popcorn will be among the treats offered throughout the evening. Other snacks and meals will be available for purchase. Robert’s Frosty is offering soup.

Coarsegold Tree Lighting 2013Visitors to the Community Center can also look forward to caroling performances, a silent auction, and the chance for kids to take pictures with Santa.

The Coarsegold Community Center is located at 35540 Highway 41.

The festive holiday night is organized as “a special gift to our community, from the Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce.” The Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce supports local businesses and promotes new business opportunities.
