COARSEGOLD — The Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce held its 2017 Installation Gala Dinner and awards ceremony on Friday, Jan. 13, expressing appreciation for the outgoing 2016 Board and community supporters, while welcoming a new team in charge.

The event took place at the Blue Heron Restaurant located on the water in Yosemite Lakes Park, with delicious food prepared by chef David Pol.
Congratulations to the local business, woman, man, and humanitarian of the year honored by the group.
Business of the Year 2016 – Coarsegold Pharmacy/Aaron Draper
Woman of the Year 2016 – Melinda Gresham
Man of the Year 2016 – Dr. Jacob Geyer
Humanitarian Award 2016 – Mitchel Riegelhuth of G’ma and Pappas
Event of the Year 2016 – Coarsegold Rodeo/Kevin and Tanner Tweed
Much thanks was given to the outgoing Board of Directors, including President Laura Young of J. Carol Realty, Vice-President/President Elect Diane Boland of Coarsegold Historic Village, Treasurer Deniece Busse of Busse Insurance, Directors Chrissy Buckles of Coarsegold Medical, Janet Stanovich of By Jupiter, and Kim Brown of Oak Creek Community.
The Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce welcomes new leadership to the organization for 2017, including now-President Diane Boland, Vice-President/President Elect Janet Stanovich, Treasurer Deniece Busse, and Secretary Laura Young. Directors currently include Chrissy Buckles and J. Carol Graham of J. Carol Realty.
