CHP collected Toys For Tots at True Value in Oakhurst

OAKHURST — Our local California Highway Patrol continues to collect Toys For Tots on behalf of the Marines this Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Old Mill Shopping Center in front of Vons.

The community is invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys For Tots drive anytime from 8 a.m. to noon, and members of the CHP will be there to receive the gifts.

It’s also an opportunity to sign up for the last senior driving event of this year. Read more about Age Well, Drive Smart here. If you’re interested in attending the class, you can add your name to the list to reserve a spot when dropping off toys for CHP’s toy drive.

Can’t make it Saturday but still want to give toys for the drive? The CHP office in Oakhurst is located at 40500 Redbud Drive and they’re open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone (559) 658-6590 for more information.
