FISH CAMP — A celebration of the life of Max Stauffer will be held on Saturday, Apr. 8, at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad from 1 to 4 p.m. (weather permitting).
Max passed away on Mar. 10 at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.
He was a true force in the mountain community, involved in numerous service organizations, school boards and civil groups.
The Railroad gate will open at 1 p.m., and the memorial service will begin at 1:30.
Parking is somewhat limited at the Railroad, so carpooling is suggested when possible.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a remembrance in Max’s name to the Oakhurst Boys and Girls Club.
