Celebrate Living A Long And Healthy Life

Submitted by the Mariposa County Health Department

MARIPOSA COUNTY — How often do we consider what influences the choices we make to be physically active, prepare fresh vegetables, cut out sugar, or schedule a (long overdue) screening test suggested by our health care provider?

At the Mariposa County Health Department, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity for a long and healthy life. Our work revolves around the everyday factors that affect everyone’s health – things like safe water, healthy homes, preventative health care, and preparing for emergencies. We are always exploring new pathways for improved health that recognize the relationship between health and where we live, learn, work, and play.

The Health Department invites residents of Mariposa County to join us in celebrating National Public Health Week from Monday, Apr. 2 to Friday, Apr. 6.
