Manhunt Causes Lockdown At Coarsegold Elementary

COARSEGOLD – The Coarsegold school was locked down this afternoon from shortly after 3 p.m. until about 4:45 p.m. while a manhunt was underway for George Walter Rosenberg, 41, of Mariposa. Oakhurst Women Plead Guilty To Attempted Carjacking

MADERA – Jessica Tancredi, 18, and Channa Hammond, 18, both of Oakhurst, pled guilty yesterday, Jan. 17, to felony attempted carjacking with special allegations for using deadly weapons. Coarsegold Area Arsonist Found Guilty

MADERA COUNTY – A Madera County Superior Court jury took less than 20 minutes on Wednesday, Jan. 16, to find Tad Patrick Moore, 49, guilty of two felony counts of arson, and an additional misdemeanor count of resisting arrest, according to Madera County District Attorney Michael R. Keitz.
