OAKHURST – Yosemite High School graduating senior Jacob Caldwell was presented with the Student of the Month Award by Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary,
Caldwell received the award on Tuesday, June 3 in Oakhurst. Pictured here, from left to right, are Sunrise Rotary President Susan Macaulay, Jacob Caldwell, and his theater arts teacher Lars Thorson, who is chair of the Fine Arts Department at YHS.
“Jacob is an outstanding young man and he has been a leader in the theater arts program for three years,” Thorson said.
“He works hard, shares his talent and always brings an exuberant spirit.”
Caldwell is next set to study marine biology and theater arts at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
