BYOF: Bring Your Own Fins To Movie Night At Miller’s Landing

BASS LAKE — Miller’s Landing Resort invites everyone to the Summer Outdoor Movie Series, as it continues on Friday, July 28 with a film chosen specially, in honor of “Shark Week.”

Playing on the water is the 1975 classic, Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg.

A giant great white shark arrives on the shores of a New England beach resort and wreaks havoc with bloody attacks on swimmers, until a local sheriff teams up with a marine biologist and an old seafarer to hunt the monster down. – IMDB

Miller’s Landing has purchased a massive movie screen, about 15-feet tall, and built a frame around it. The film will be projected onto the screen, facing out into the cove. There will be a roped-off area for floats, and boats will be sectioned off behind the floats for safety.

“Bring your boat or bring your float, we’ll be delivering the popcorn by paddle board!”

There is no charge for this event. It’s BYOF — Bring Your Own Fins. The fun starts at 8 p.m.
