Businesses In Yosemite Reopen

YOSEMITE – Things are up and running again in Yosemite National Park, and here is an update from the Yosemite Daily Report on what’s open and what may be closed for the season.

Yosemite Valley ShuttleResumed standard operations on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m.

YARTSWill resume normal schedule on Friday, Oct. 18. Run 6 – in response to requests from employees, Run 6 has now been extended into the park, allowing employees to travel to Mariposa or Merced for shopping medical or other purposes and return the same day.

Yosemite Conservancy

Performances will resume at the Yosemite Theater. Fridays and Saturdays there will be showings of Return to Balance. Tuesday will feature Yosemite Search and Rescue. Last show of the season will be Oct. 26.

Yosemite Conservancy Bookstores at the Valley Visitor Center, Yosemite Museum, Wawona, and Big Oak Flat have reopened and are operating under regular business hours.

The weekly art workshops are finished for the season but the Art Center will be operating as normal.

Open Thursday, Oct. 17, resume normal hours on Saturday (9 a.m. -7 p.m.)
