Boo! Yay! It’s The Bass Lake Halloween Carnival!

BASS LAKE — Looking for a way to celebrate the spooky season that provides entertainment for little ghouls and big ones, too? Stop by the Pines Village on Sat. Oct. 28 from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. and join in on a fun, free community event: it’s the 2nd Annual Bass Lake Halloween & Fall Carnival, a safe and family-oriented alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat (or in addition to!).

Families can participate in a variety of activities, games and crafts, including the opportunity to trick or treat in the Village. Be on the lookout for inflatables including bounce house and slide, carnival games, face painting and a costume contest for kids.

In addition, you may hear a little Monster Mash, as a DJ entertains the crowd. Adults may spend time in the beer garden, where there’s a tasting going on. The Pines Village hosts a Craft Fair throughout the weekend, and as always, food and treats are available for purchase at the Pines Market deli.

Organizers encourage kids 12-and-under to come in their costumes, enjoy photo booths and take part in the contest for a chance to win great prizes, including overnight stays in cabins at the Pines Resort for the entire family.

Grown-ups are asked to please refrain from donning any costumes or masks that would prevent identification. Wigs, capes, and family-friendly makeup are just fine. For the comfort and safety of all concerned, visitors are asked to please leave pets at home.

This is a community event open to all. Admission is free. People are asked to RSVP online.
