FISH CAMP – Sunday, Sept. 1, is your opportunity to support your firefighters at Fish Camp Fire/Rescue Company #33 of the Mariposa County Fire Department.
Held on the cool banks of Big Creek, the annual fundraiser features a tri-tip and chicken barbecue, music from local musician Tom Bopp, and this year organizers have added a silent auction.
There are countless auction items that will go to the highest bidder, including a battery operated chain saw and a tool set worth over $100. In addition to the silent and live auctions, t-shirts will also be available for sale at $15 each.
This is the 36th year for this important fundraiser, which will be held at Camp Green Meadows, located off Highway 41 at 7798 White Chief Road in Fish Camp, CA.
- Tri-tip and chicken barbecue – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Silent auction – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Live auction and raffle – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Your firefighters have been working hard for you all through this difficult summer, and this is your chance to support them. It’s also an opportunity to score some great items at the auctions, with Donn Harter at the microphone for the live event, and Tom Bopp on his electric piano.
