Kids 12 and under, just wear a costume to the event, and stop by our Halloween Photo Booth anytime during the Halloween and Fall Carnival to snap a photo on your phone or camera. Then, email your picture to dpetty@basslake.com before Monday, Oct. 31 for a chance to win prizes including a $50 gift card or pizza certificates. Kids can compete in one of two categories, “Cutest Costume” and “Most Creative Costume.”

During the event, kids can go trick or treating in the Pines Village. This event is great for families looking for a safe, friendly trick or treating environment, particularly for those with younger children.

For a small fee ($7), families can also choose their own pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and then decorate them, just in time for Halloween on Monday. All craft supplies are provided and included in the fee.

If you’re looking to warm up or fuel up during the event, be sure to stop by the food stand just a short way away in front of the Lakeview Room (Conference Center), where you’ll find a hot chocolate and cider bar, a soup and chili bar, and a number of other seasonal goodies, including BBQ turkey legs and more.

Treats For Adults, Too

While there will be plenty of family-friendly activities to participate in, guests will also have an opportunity to responsibly participate in several adult-only events that you won’t want to miss. Tioga Sequoia and South Gate Brewing will both be visiting our beer garden, where those who are 21+ can enjoy a sampling of seasonal brews and year-round favorites, as well as a full bar.

Also going on throughout the weekend is the Pines Village Craft Fair. One of the area’s most popular events, guests can browse vendors, chat with artists and craftsmen, and shop for a variety of locally made goods, including photography, wood crafts, handmade jewelry and clothing, ceramics, and more.

Stop by the Pines Village between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday to check it out.

For local visitors looking to get in on a little extra fun, bring your own decorated golf cart to the event for the chance to win some cool prizes!

With so much going on at Bass Lake that weekend, booking a stay at The Pines Resort is a great way to ensure that you have plenty of time to get to everything that you want to do!
