Attempted Break-In At YLP Business Center

COARSEGOLD – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a commercial alarm that turned out to be an attempted burglary last night in Yosemite Lakes Park.

Law enforcement is looking for a man who attempted to break into a building at the YLP Business Center on Corral Drive between 6 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The suspect was wearing a yellow shirt with bright red or orange emblem, and reportedly driving a white or silver 4-door Toyota or Volkswagen. One person reported the car had damage on the passenger side bumper and the headlight was out.

The Sheriff’s Office says the suspect was reported with tattoos on both arms, possibly a goatee, and short cut brown hair.

Anyone with information on the vehicle and/or individual is asked to contact the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7770.
