MARIPOSA — The Mariposa County Sheriff’s office has issued an alert requesting that people be on the lookout for a man missing from the area since Saturday.

Ronald Hughes, 74, is a white male with shoulder-length gray hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. He stands about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. Mr. Hughes was last seen on Saturday, June 25 at about 3 p.m., wearing a long-sleeved red plaid shirt and tan pants.
The missing man is reported to suffer from medical condition and may become disoriented. He rode away on a silver and gray mountain bike with a basket on the rear. If located, please contact the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 966-3615.
UPDATE 4:44 p.m. Missing Person Ronald Hughes has been located by Mariposa County Search and Rescue.
