Friends and loved ones of Anna Darlene Dodge are invited to celebrate her life and share memories on Friday, Apr. 1, at the Hillside Baptist Church in North Fork.
Anna passed away on Nov. 28, 2015, at the age of 69.
Born in Bristol, VA, on Dec. 9, 1945, Anna lived in North Fork since 1976 with husband Marvin Dodge, who passed away in 1995.
Anna was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was also a devoted member of the Hillside Baptist Church and was aspiring to be a mystery writer.
Anna loved spending her time with family and friends, and with her cats. She also spent many hours reading and writing, and lending her gracious spirit to church functions. She worked as an administrative assistant for United Cerebral Palsy in Fresno for over 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Dodge; father James C. May; mother Mary Shanks; step-father Myer Shanks; brothers Edward May and James C. May Jr.; sister Linda Ball; sisters-in-law Phyllis May and Donna May; and daughter Lisa Mireles.
Anna is survived by sons Marvin and Matt Dodge and family; brother Dwight May and family; brother Marvin May and family; sister Brenda Polson and family; half-sister Cindy May; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Please join in celebrating the life of Anna Darlene Dodge on Friday, Apr. 1, at the Hillside Baptist Church in North Fork, Calif. Services will start at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck luncheon. The family has asked that in lieu of sending flowers, please make donations to the Hillside Baptist Church in her name.
She will be truly missed by her Family, Friends, and Loved ones.
