Agnes T. Constable

Agnes T ConstableAgnes was the oldest living member of the Sunnyside Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Fresno, Calif. While still worshipping with Sunnyside Church, she delighted in having five generations fill several family pews.

Her lifelong love of music portrayed her Celtic background of Glasgow, Scotland. Her “living memorial” is the organ she donated to her Sunnyside Church in Fresno.

As a pioneer woman who chose a career, her favorite position was physiotherapist for St. Helena Hospital where she retired in 1978.

Her second favorite career was serving as a volunteer for church thrift stores. Agnes served over 30 years for the St. Helena SDA Hospital and the North Fork Grace Community Church store outlets.

Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clayton M. Constable, and her grandson Clayton R. Carpenter, Agnes is survived by her two daughters, C. Joan Constable-Carpenter of Friant, and Carole A. Constable-Jenkins of Riverside; sons-in-law Frank R. Carpenter and Thomas J. Jenkins; seven grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

The Celebration of her Life will be held at North Fork’s Grace Community Church on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4 p.m.
