ACT Dog Of The Week: Clarita

The Animal Compassion Team (ACT) foster and adoption program introduces Clarita:

Hi! I am a senior dachshund and Chihuahua mix, about seven years old. Even though I am an older girl, I still would make the perfect dog for anyone.

Giving a senior dog a chance is so wonderful, because we get overlooked a lot. I have been with ACT for about one month, and am looking for my forever home.

I came into Fresno Humane (Animal Compassion Team’s sister organization) with tumors on me, and the nice rescue people got them removed.

A very sweet girl, I love everyone I meet. I walk nicely on a leash and I still have plenty of love to give. I am great in the car and in a crate, and get along well with other dogs, too. A comfortable travel partner, I would work well with someone that would cuddle and hold me most of the day.

If you think I am the dog for you please fill out an online adoption application for me on the Animal Compassion Team’s website, below. You can also e-mail riley.hardison@icloud.com with any questions you may have. Please share, and help me find my forever home!

Adoptable Dogs

Animal Compassion Team

Animal Compassion Team is a nonprofit animal rescue organization whose goal is to save as many homeless pets as possible. We are volunteer based organization and receive no funding from local government.

We believe that all dogs and cats are as individual as adopters and make great effort to help match your family with the pet that is best suited for you. Through lifelong commitments and healthy fulfilled lives we believe pets are able to become the best they can be and amazing relationships are built.
